On Saturday with no golf or Bowling we headed for Spain. We did not go far because without telling the rental company we were going they would not service the car if we got into trouble. Also we do not have a gismo for the Spanish toll roads.
We found our way to Lepe and got gas. The gas was 1.08 Euros where as in Portugal it is about 1.48 Euros I think. Without a plan we headed back to Ayamonte which is in Spain across The Guadiana River. Our goal where was to find the ferry which we had been told about but could not find. We decided to head back to Tavira for lunch.
Tavira is a very nice very white place. As you get closer and closer to the centre of town the roads get narrower and steeper. We were lucky and found a parking spot just short of the square with a number go restaurants. We chose one and had lunch. We then went to the grocery store in the mall and home.
